Orihuela Costa is becoming a town with everyone´s efforts and will have proper services. To get those services we need to have councillors from and for the coast. This is your choice: to continue living here in a dump or joining the change and PIOC and vote in the forthcoming elections.
Quick guide for the May 2027 local elections.
☕ Join PIOC ( www.PIOC.info ). €40 per year per person or €60 per year per couple. Your contribution helps to fund the elections. open a physical office, support the party’s operations and take the town hall to court if it fails to meet its commitments.
🏠 Key requirement: Be registered (padron). British and Norwegian citizens can vote if they have been registered on the municipal census up to 3 years before applying to vote and their registration is kept up to date.
📬 Census card. The Spanish government usually sends it around April/May 2026 or in October to December.
If you receive it: 1.-Mark that you wish to vote. 2.-Add the date. 3.- Sign it. 4.- Return it by post.

📝 If you do NOT receive the census card. you can register from 1/12/26 to 15/1/27 (approximate dates) at the town hall ( Take your NIE or other ID ) or Online: through the INE electronic office amd you will need your NIE and possibly a digital certificate or Cl@ve

🗂️ After registering. After 15 February 2027, you will receive by post your census card with information about your polling station.
📅 Voting day. Sunday, 30 May 2027 (likely date). Avoid travelling on that day, PIOC will offer transport for those who need it. We will provide information about polling locations.
